New Blog for a New Growing Season

With the start of the farmers market season in Chicago, it seemed appropriate for Chicago's AUA members to have have a place to write about their experiences growing (or trying to grow) food in our urban environment. Although AUA has a Google group, http://groups.google.com/group/advocates-for-urban-agriculture
this blog will give AUA members a way to communicate our experiences and ideas in a longer form.

There are also many other cities with urban growers and farms. This blog will be a good place to learn from their experience too.

So to start... a blog post by Charles Watson from his blog 12 Degrees of Freedom.
